A series of incredible coincidences brought together four people who have lived within a few hundred metres of each other for nearly 20 years but had never met. That’s One Degree of Separation.
One Degree of Separation is also the name of the debut album by alternative power-pop rockers YouAreHere released on 23rd January 2006. Featuring ten tracks filled with excitement, hope, anger, despair and confusion, the record showcases YouAreHere’s ear for melody and love of searing guitar.
The South West based 4-piece have built a strong following with a website that receives thousands of hits a month (www.you-here.com), and gigs around the country at venues like London’s Garage, Bristol’s Fleece and Leicester’s Shed.
2006 has seen the band promoting their highly acclaimed debut long player, as well as starting to write songs for a new EP and, eventually, a new album.
